About the Headband Project. My daughter is doing a service project for American Heritage Girls in order to serve her community. This is the second year she had done this project. Last year I mentioned this requirement to her, and she came up with the Headband Project to benefit the Dell Children’s Blood and Cancer Center. This is a project she still feels passionate about. Since she is a minor, it is my info listed. If you would like to donate some headbands reach out to me and I can give you a PO box to send them to. If your local and know us then reach out and we can make arrangements.
Thank you.
Headband Patterns
This is the most basic headband. You can tie a knot in it to make it a smaller headband for younger girls or add an inch or two for a it to keep it the same size, or leave at is. We can also add a decorative button and some flowers with a button hole stitched in the middle. So many things can be done with this basic headband. This second headband we tried, is great because it is more adjustable to a variety of head sizes. However, it uses a lot more fabric.DIY Knotted Headband [Super Quick Tutorial] – Mary Martha Mama
