Hi, I’m Shannon!
I always knew I wanted to be a mommy, this knowledge has given me a special heart for children and children’s needs. I’ve been a stay at home mom since my oldest child was born, and I started homeschooling shortly after my youngest was born. It hasn’t always been easy, but I am loving the adventures we have together. One of those adventures was publishing my own children’s book series.
Writing and publishing children’s book had the added benefit of using my education. I split my college education between Early Childhood Development and English Studies. As a young adult I never would have guessed that I’d write children’s books, but looking back at my passions and talents, it makes perfect sense.
Being a small business owner has its own challenges, that is what makes life exciting, right? That is why I’m here to blog about homeschooling life and my journey as an independent children’s book author. Follow along as I Dream BIG and follow where God leads me.
