More than just coloring

As children age our use of coloring pages change too. From simple hand eye coordination practice to more complex attention to detail. The same goes for the choices in coloring mediums. Most kids start with crayons, something my kids hated, then move colored pencils help refine her hand eye coordination, maybe slipping in pencil control on the sly. But markers? Oh, how they love markers. I do not recommend markers for casual coloring. They are messy, bleed, and do not teach control until a child is much older.
