Books: Every Person has Room to Shine

I wrote more on this book here. You can get your kindle copies here and here.

The little pInk elephant loved to sing and dance. She is jubilant and boisterous.

“Hush, be still” she was often told. She would try, but the joy would burst forth.

She would sing and dance once more. “Join me!” she invited instead.

Would they? Could They?

The Little Pink Elephant is a little different from the other elephants. This story encourages children to shine their brightest and not let other’s steal their joy. The little pink elephant knows that its not about outshining anyone else, its about spreading joy to others.

  1. Dear Shannon
I make quilts to go with Childrens books! I recently made one to go with your delightful book “ The Little Pink Elephant “. I am a retired special education teacher and I believe in reading to children of young ages as an aid to their learning. Much research has been done to support this theory. I sell my quilts along with the book, however that’s not my purpose in contacting you. I would also like to video me reading the book to enhance my quilts.
I would like permission from you to do so. I’m not quite up on this kind of etiquette but want you to know I don’t want to do anything offensive or dishonest. It just occurred to me I should ask you if this has your approval. I will give credit to you for writing the book. Joy Ross Story Time Quilts by Mums
