Simple and Easy Printable Spiral Graph Activity
Last week I made a craft from a kit with my daughter that was basically spiral graph with string, but its discontinued. That means no buying more kits. So I was working out a way do something similar without buying special tools or parts or pieces. This is what I came up with. Print off varies sized scalloped images onto cardstock, and use whatever you have on hand. The great thing is that it can easily be adapted for variety of age groups and purposes. My daughter will be making them as a service project, but I could easily see it being made as a mothers day frame, just pop a picture of the child into the center.

What you need:
- A printer and cardstock (but plain paper would technically work). I provided some printable pages to use, you can get them here. You can easily resize them by telling your printer to shrink them.
- Something to make lines (pens, colored pencils, crayons, markers, string…paint)
- Ruler
- Tape
I made a video to help explain what to do. Please watch it if you have any questions.
*A little tip for using the thread, or yarn, clip down a small amount at each scallop to hold the thread/yarn in place.
I hope you enjoy this craft. Drop a note and let me know!
