Pray With Me: A Child’s Guide to Prayer
A simple introduction to prayer for young hearts. (ages 4-7)

Pray With Me is a gentle introduction and guide to prayer.

Many of us take it for granted that our kids know how to pray.

From the dinner table, to bedtime, church services and beyond, we can model prayer to our children. And those experiences are very important.

What Pray with Me does is break it down to their level. We want our children to know that prayer is not just something we do, it is something we do with a purpose and for a purpose.

As Christians, it is important that we teach our children early that prayer is about having a relationship with God.

We want to instill the habit of prayer, not for habit’s sake, but for that relationship. It will help develop that personal, take everything to God, and pray unceasingly habit that we are told in the Bible to form.

After the lesson, there are pages for your child to write out their own prayers and some favorite prayer verses that you and your child can reference over and over again.

This is also a great place to write in a family favorite verse or prayer.

Don’t feel that the book has to be read from start to finish everytime. It’s okay to flip to the end and just pray the verses with your child.

If you have more than one child, consider getting them each their own copy, or the companion prayer journal, so that each child can create and record their own prayer journey.
