Let’s teach learning as an adventure!

No matter how different we each are…

The little purple porcupine loved to explore.

He wanted to find his own adventures.

His mother worried that he would get hurt.

She had to learn he was more capable than she thought.

They both learn that different is okay.

The Little Purple Porcupine is a story about a mothers worry for her child. Every mother worries, but some worry is restrictive and hurtful. When a child is different a mothers worry can create barriers for her child. I want to show that just because a child is different, it doesn’t mean they can’t thrive in the world. If we let them. If we help them, they can do more than survive, then can thrive!
