📖 Storytime Tie-In:
The Little Donkey is a story about patience, empathy, and learning to see the needs of others. Through Little Donkey’s journey, children discover that growth takes time and that everyone has moments when they need understanding, encouragement, and kindness.
As you read:
- Talk about the moments when Little Donkey needed patience and how rushing or becoming frustrated can make challenges feel even harder.
- Discuss how everyone has different strengths, struggles, and things they are learning. We all need patience from others at different times in our lives.
- Explore how challenges can shape our hearts and help us grow. We don’t have to pretend that difficult moments are easy, but we can trust that God can use both the hard things and the good things in our lives to help us become more compassionate and caring toward others.
